During the pandemic, many put off regular healthcare visits. This includes annual wellness exams and standard immunizations for children. Nevada Health Centers operates the Carson City School-based Health Center located at 618 West Musser Street.
The health center will operate on its normal schedule during the summer months:
Tuesdays, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (closed 12-1 p.m. for lunch)
Thursdays, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (closed 12-1 p.m. for lunch)
Call 800.787.2568 for an appointment.
Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Health center services are open to children and families of the Carson City School District. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance, and offer a sliding-fee scale for patients without insurance. NVHC’s mission is to provide access to quality healthcare services throughout Nevada.
