Carson City Sheriff’s Office investigators are seeking the identity of a thief who allegedly stole detailing supplies from a Carson City auto dealership and then a few days later returned and stole the surveillance camera installed in an attempt to catch them in the act.
The first theft at Carson City Hyundai, 3659 S Carson St., happened May 18 where the thief allegedly stole detailing supplies.
Carson City sheriff’s detectives believe the same thief returned May 24 attempting to steal more and spotted the surveillance camera and stole that as well.
