In celebration of Public Works Week, the Carson City Public Works team held an Open House that allowed participants to play on equipment, enter raffles, and learn all about the systems that make our community run smoothly!

Participants were able to learn about Water, Sewer, Streets, Landfill, Wastewater, Environmental, Flood Mitigation/ Storm Drain Services, Jump Around Carson (JAC), Fleet Maintenance and Utility Billing from city staff who were available to answer questions.

There were free giveaways and raffles, educational displays and equipment on display to climb on; as well as King of Kings, Valley Eats, and Ping Pow Poom food trucks for lunch.
