Carson City Fire Department, sheriff’s deputies and the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division responded late Thursday afternoon to the southbound lane of I-580 near the College Parkway ramp for a single vehicle crash.
The crash was reported at 4:51 p.m., with the driver reportedly injured. Airbags were deployed. Lanes are blocked due to the crash. Motorists can expect delays. NHP Troopers opened 1 lane around the crash as of 5:05 p.m.
The driver was taken to the hospital via ambulance. Their condition is unknown at this time.
