If there were an award for “Most Likely to Cause Belly Laughs and Then Cuddle You Until You Melt,” Theo would win paws down. This 4-year-old orange tabby is a living ray of sunshine wrapped in fur.

With his silly antics, his fascination with bird-watching, and his tendency to chatter when something piques his interest, Theo fills every room with joy.

Theo doesn’t just play, he performs. He’ll chase a toy with all the dramatic flair of a feline stuntman, then flop beside you with an exaggerated sigh. He’s the kind of cat who makes kids giggle, steals hearts with a head tilt, and might (just maybe) steal your ranch dressing if you look away.

He loves to snuggle under the covers, especially on chilly nights, and adores heated blankets. He tends to bond most with one person at a time, though he rotates his affections generously.

He can occasionally be a bit moody, but in a home of his own it’s the exception, rather than the norm.

Theo is litter-trained, great with children, and comfortable with calm, respectful dogs. He is not a fan of other cats, but will tolerate another feline if they are calm and give him time and space.

Theo’s previous human described him as spunky, loyal, curious, and easy to love. We couldn’t agree more.

Theo is hoping to find a loving forever home where he can continue his reign as king of coziness. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion with a whole lot of character, Theo is ready to settle into your heart.

Fill out a pre-adoption application on our website at CatmanduCC.org then come and meet him this weekend at Catmandu. We are open for adoptions Friday – Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm at 1829 Brown Street.

We ask potential adopters to arrive no later than 3 pm so they have plenty of time to spend with the cats before adoptions close.
