Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of May 5-11, 2025. Closures and lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic from April 8, 2024, to June 30, 2025, for construction.
Center Drive between Alder Street and Clearview Drive will be closed to thru traffic from May 5, 2025 to May 16.
Gentry Lane between Bennett Avenue and Snyder Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Multi-Use Path near Carson Street between the Office Depot parking lot and the Carson Street/Stewart Street Roundabout will be closed from May 5, 2025, to June 24, 2025, for pavement patching. Cyclists will be provided with detours.
The Multi-Use Path near the Governors Field Complex between Roop Street and Saliman Road will be closed from May 5, 2025, to June 24, 2025, for pavement patching. Cyclists will be provided with detours.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
The Menlo Drive and Lompa Lane intersection will have lane shifts from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Northbound Roop Street between Randell Drive and Mallory Way will be reduced to a single lane from May 5, 2025, to June 24, 2025.
Stewart Street between Washington Street and William Street will be reduced to a single lane April 28, 2025, to May 9, 2025, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
