By Lawrence Jones — Interested in experiencing the thrill of a flight in a private aircraft? The Carson City EAA Chapter 403 is hosting another Young Eagles event at the Carson City Airport.
This event is free and is open to kids ages 8-17 years of age. On the day of the event, the kids will get a pre-flight safety briefing and then get to fly in one of a variety of aircraft that are owned by our Young Eagle Pilots.

They will also get a Logbook to record their flights, free membership to the EAA Young Eagles and an access code for free on-line Ground School.
The event is on May 10, 2025, and registration opens Saturday, May 3, 8 a.m. There is limited availability, and these slots will fill up quickly. Go to the link here to register.
We will also be hosting a pancake breakfast that morning at the EAA Chapter House which is located just west of the terminal.
Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and is $10 for adults and $8 for children under age 18. Breakfast includes all the pancakes and eggs one can eat, a helping of sausage, orange juice, coffee and bottled water. Cash or credit accepted. No reservation for breakfast is required.
