Carson City area casinos saw their gaming revenue increase by 2.61 percent in March, according to figures released Tuesday by the Nevada Gaming control Board. Statewide gaming revenue was down 1.11 percent.
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except South Shore Lake Tahoe report gaming generated income, also known as “gaming win,” at $11,569,458, a 2.61 percent increase compared to March 2024.
Meanwhile, casinos at South Shore Lake Tahoe saw their gaming revenue decline by 7.16 percent, taking in $14,730,761. North Lake Tahoe casinos were down 4.93 percent, taking in gaming revenue of 1,686,983.
Elsewhere, gaming revenue was up 6.96 percent in Washoe County, 10.90 percent in Reno and 1.94 percent in Sparks.
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total gaming win of $1,276,250,170 for March 2025. This amounts to a 1.11 percent decrease compared to March 2024 when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,290,587,598. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025), gaming win has decreased 1.14 percent.
