These educational programs of the Carson City Symphony Association feature string instrument players and singers from Carson City and surrounding areas, including public-, private-, and home-schooled students, and adults, who will perform classics to folk tunes from many countries. Admission is free.

“Around the World in Music” is conducted by Carson City Symphony’s Education Director Micah Dunn, Lead Instructor Suzanne McGarraugh, Youth Chorus Director Nancy Jones, and other strings instructors. It includes beginning violinists and cellists; three student string ensembles; youth chorus ages 4 and up; and NQR adult intermediate strings.
