A vehicle fire Tuesday evening near McDonald’s on Winnie Lane was knocked down by Carson City Fire Department firefighters.
The fire, which happened at around 7 p.m., appeared to have started in the engine compartment area, said Carson City Fire Chief Sean Slamon. There were no injuries or damage to structures. The cause is undetermined.
Video of the fire going up was sent to Carson Now by reader Kayla Sue Mays. It shows the front half of the vehicle engulfed as firefighters preparing to knock it down.
