Miller Counseling and Wellness Center is offering FREE Spanish speaking grief support groups every Wednesday from 7 pm to 8 pm at 104 W Telegraph St. in Carson City, Nevada beginning April 2, 2025.
Eddie Miller, owner of Miller Counseling, entered a partnership with the Center for Hope and Healing in January of 2024. Eddie and volunteers Adriana Contreras, Marissa Stokes and Lindsey Stoeberl participated in training and started the journey of offering this needed resource to our community. The English-speaking group has been offered every Wednesday for the last year and has been a huge success with large weekly turnouts. Mrs. Adriana Contreras has graciously volunteered to offer the group in Spanish.
Adriana is a long-time resident of Northern Nevada and a small business owner. She volunteers at her church and in her community on a regular basis. Miller Counseling is blessed to have Adriana and all the volunteers as part of our team. The grief support group will be offered every Wednesday in both Spanish and English. Miller Centro de consejeria y bienestar está ofreciendo ayuda en cómo superar tu Duelo, cada miércoles de 7 pm a 8 pm en 104 W Telegraph St. En Carson City, Nevada empezando El 2 de Abril 2025. Eddie Miller, dueña de Consejeria Miller se asoció con el grupo del Centro de esperanza y sanción en Enero del 2024. Eddie Y voluntarias Adriana Contreras, Marissa Stokes y Lindsey Soeberl participaron en el entrenamiento y empezaron con este proyecto ofreciendo este recurso de necesidad en nuestra comunidad. El grupo en Inglés ha estado ofreciendo la ayuda cada miercoles desde el año pasado y ha sido un enorme éxito con un grupo variado semanalmente. La señora Adriana Contreras de gran bondad ha ofrecido la ayuda en español. Adriana ha sido residente por mucho tiempo en el Norte de Nevada y es dueuña de su propio negocio. Ha sido voluntaria en su Iglesia por mucho tiempo. Consejeria Miller es bendecida de tener a Adriana de voluntaria en este equipo.
