Each year, the Carson City Firefighters Association hosts their annual St. Baldrick’s event to raise money for the fight against childhood cancer.

The event began at 2 p.m. and will run until 4 p.m., so stop by for a shave between those times and leave with a clean shave and a lighter wallet for a good cause.

The fundraising goal this year is for $7,000 to help fund research grants.
