Carson City native John “Jed” Block entered the race Friday to become the Republican candidate for Assembly District 40 saying that he feels well-qualified to represent the district because of his extensive familiarity with the needs of citizens.
“I have lived most of my life in Carson City and spent 9 years in the Reno/Washoe County area. I love this area and have focused much of my life advocating for its betterment,” said Block. “I want to continue to work toward the growth of the community and the State of Nevada. As we pull out of this recession, I want to ensure that we will continue to enhance our quality of life.”
