Carson City and South Shore Lake Tahoe area casinos saw increases in gaming generated revenue for the first month of 2026, according to latest figures from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County with the exception of Lake Tahoe saw its January gaming revenue climb 3.17 percent compared to January 2025 figures, taking in $11,512,576.

South Shore Lake Tahoe casinos, which include the casino core at Stateline, had a 10.30 percent increase compared to January 2025, bringing in $24,575,361. Casinos at North Lake Tahoe saw its gaming revenue down 4.15 percent.

Casinos in Washoe County outside of Reno and Sparks saw an increase of 4.19 percent. Casinos in Reno saw a gaming revenue increase of 2.90 percent, while Sparks casinos saw gaming revenue up 10.47 percent.

Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,345,164,920 for the month of January 2026. This amounts to a 6.55 percent decrease compared to January 2025, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,439,494,060.
