Nearly 50 female students from both Carson Middle and Eagle Valley Middle School participated in Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day at the University of Nevada, Reno on Friday.

The national event, or Girl Day, is a time when volunteers and educators act as role models, facilitate engineering activities and show young females how engineering is a great career choice and a great way to change the world.
