Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Feb. 16-22, 2026. Closures and lane reductions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work. Go here to view a map of this week’s roadwork.
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed nightly from Feb. 9 to March 31, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
7th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed from Feb. 9 to March 31.
Como Street between North Carson Meadow Drive and Saliman Road will be closed to through traffic from Feb. 16 to March 6, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Goldfield Avenue between North Carson Meadow Drive and Saliman Road will be closed to through traffic continuing to Feb. 20, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Plaza Street between 5th and 7th Street will be closed from Feb. 9 to March 31.
Rawhide Way between Telegraph Street and Goldfield Avenue will be closed to through traffic through Feb. 20, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Stewart Street/William Street intersection will be closed to all traffic from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Roop Street will be closed to Eastbound and Westbound traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will have lane restrictions with flaggers from Feb. 9 to March 31, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Nevada Street between Musser Street and King Street will have shoulder work from Feb. 11 to March 4, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
North Carson Meadow Drive between 5th Street and Goldfield Avenue will have lane restrictions from Feb. 16 to March 6, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Stewart Street between 5th Street and 8th Street may have reduced lanes with flaggers and lane shifts from Feb. 9 to March 31.
William Street between Carson Street and Saliman Road will have restricted lanes from Monday through Sunday.
