Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded late Tuesday afternoon to the area of Gordon and Brown streets for a man found dead in a vehicle.
At around 4:30 p.m., Carson City dispatch was advised of a man inside a vehicle who was unresponsive and believed to be beyond help and deceased. Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded and found the man had died.
A passerby saw the man not responsive and reported it, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.
“The older gentleman is deceased. There’s nothing suspicious at this point and time,” said Furlong.
The sheriff’s office is investigating.
