Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called to a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian Thursday afternoon in the area of South Carson Street and 9th Street.
The incident was report at 3:16 p.m. The pedestrian was reportedly conscious and suffered from a leg injury. The motorist involved reportedly stopped at the scene.
The No. 1 southbound lane is closed for two blocks due to emergency vehicle traffic. Motorists can expect delays.
The cause is under investigation.
