Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting three additional deaths due to COVID-19 in the Quad County region over three days, Saturday, Feb. 6 to Monday, Feb. 8, 2021.

Saturday, Feb. 6
There was an additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individual was a male Carson City resident in his 80’s. There were also 16 new cases and 195 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brought the total number of cases to 10,895, with 7,786 recoveries and 193 deaths; 2,916 cases remained active.

Sunday, Feb. 7
There were 15 new cases and 198 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brought the total number of cases to 10,910, with 7,984 recoveries and 193 deaths; 2,733 cases remained active.

Monday, Feb. 8
We are reporting two additional deaths due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individuals were:
— A male Storey County resident in his 60’s
— A male Carson City resident in his 80’s

We are also reporting 18 new cases and 190 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region.
The weekend numbers and today’s numbers bring the total number of cases to 10,928, with 8,174 recoveries and 195 deaths; 2,559 cases remain active.

CCHHS announces a new Quad-County COVID-19 dashboard. The dashboard can be found on our website https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/novel-coronavirus-2019/

The dashboard includes a breakdown of cases by county, zip code, race, ethnicity, age, and gender.

The Quad-County COVID-19 Dashboard is updated regularly at 5 p.m. Data is provided by CCHHS and is based on preliminary laboratory findings. County statistics may be adjusted as investigations are completed and data is updated.

Additionally, these are laboratory-based data which may reflect some results on patients that live outside of the Quad-County Region (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey County). These cases will be removed once the epidemiological investigation is performed and addresses are verified.

Testing is for Quad-County (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey County) residents ONLY, all others will be turned away. Events may be canceled 48 hours in advance if inclement weather is expected. Testing is free of charge, no appointments or reservations.
