If you’ve been looking for a little elegance and charm to brighten your home, Miss Mabel (Latin for lovable) may be the perfect match. At just one year old, this beautiful girl is dressed in silky, jet-black fur that makes her big green eyes shine even brighter. With her wonderfully expressive face—often wearing an adorably surprised look—Miss Mabel has a way of capturing hearts the moment you notice her.
Miss Mabel is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, so she’s ready to begin her next chapter with a loving family. She can be a bit shy in new places and takes a little time to warm up to new people, but patience is richly rewarded. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet and affectionate nature truly blossoms. She enjoys playtime, appreciates gentle companionship, and becomes a devoted lap cat for the humans lucky enough to earn her “favorite person” status.
Originally surrendered when her owner developed severe allergies, Miss Mabel is now hoping for a forever home where she can feel secure and loved again. She does well with other cats and, while a bit cautious around dogs, she’s willing to make friends with calm, respectful pups who give her the space she needs. She is good with respectful children school-age and up.
