A 37-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday for misdemeanor domestic battery, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
At 9:43 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, Carson City sheriff’s deputies were called to the 1000 block of Goshute Way regarding a domestic battery in progress. The reporting party was a juvenile who advised their mother was hitting their dad.
Deputies arrived and made contact with all involved parties. The man and woman both exhibited objective signs of alcohol intoxication, including red watery eyes, slurred speech and both having an odor of alcohol coming from their person.
During the investigation, officers learned there was a verbal argument between the man and woman. During the argument the woman allegedly struck the man approximately seven times, causing visible injuries to the man’s ear and chest. There were multiple witnesses to the incident, who advised the woman struck the man, the report states. The woman was arrested for suspicion of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.
