With the theme “portrait,” local photographers submitted their best for Carson City Photo Club judging in its monthly photo competition.

The January winners are:

Become a member for only $15 per year and submit your 8×10 matted photo in the competition. All levels of photographers are welcome. Display of contest winners and other submissions are located at the Nevada State Museum.

The Carson City Photo Club meets at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month (except December) at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, 911 East Musser Street (use west entrance).

The theme for February is “Geometric Patterns.” All levels of photographers are welcome. Go here for information.
