A 39-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for misdemeanor violation of a protective order for stalking and alleged possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
Deputies were dispatched at around noon to the 2200 bock of Mayflower Way for a court order violation report. While en-route, dispatch advised the man had a served and active warrant against him. Dispatch also advised the man was sitting in a vehicle in front of the address where the protected party resided and was currently, the report states.
A deputy arrived and saw the suspect vehicle in front of the Mayflower Way address. The vehicle was less than 100 yards from the house. In the front passenger seat the deputy saw the man matching the description. The deputy approached the man and was placed him into handcuffs. There was another man located in the rear seat of the vehicle who was unrelated to the call, the report states.
The deputy reviewed the protection order served on Jan. 15, 2026. The conditions listed on the protection order and for the suspect was to stay 100 yards away from the Mayflower address. The deputy contacted the reporting party who filled out a statement.
The deputy retrieved their police K9 Braum, who conducted a free-air sniff on the exterior of the vehicle where suspect was sitting. The K9 detected one of the three narcotic odors. Deputies did not locate any drugs or paraphernalia in the vehicle.
The suspect was placed under arrest for violating the protection order. There was probable cause to search the suspect. During the search the deputy located a broken methamphetamine pipe with residue and a clear plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine residue. The man was taken to jail. Bail: $1,137.

— A 39-year-old Reno woman, Kaza Kaylor, was arrested Tuesday for a felony warrant issued Dec. 22, 2025 out of Churchill County. According to the booking report, a Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration.
The deputy made contact with the driver, who stated she did not have a driver’s license. She provided her personal information. A record check through dispatch revealed an active warrant out of Churchill County for failure to appear with a $50,000 cash-only bail. She was arrested for the warrant.
— A 57-year-old Carson City man was booked Tuesday for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Nov. 19, 2025 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $5,000 cash.
— A 45-year-old Fernley woman was booked for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued May 21, 2025 out of Cason City Justice Court. Bail; $3,000 cash.
— A 43-year-old Sun Valley man was booked for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued May 29, 2025 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000 cash.
— A 29-year-old Reno woman was booked for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Dec. 17, 2025 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000 cash.
