The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Fritsch Elementary School will host the Second Annual Mother-Son Dance Friday, Jan. 30, from 6-9 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William Street. The districtwide event is open to families throughout the greater Carson City region.
This year’s theme, “Neon Glow Party,” promises an evening bursting with color, music and fun for all ages. Mothers and sons are encouraged to dress in their brightest neon attire and come ready to light up the dance floor under the glow of vibrant lights.

The event will feature a live DJ, setting the mood with upbeat tracks that will keep everyone moving all night long. Guests can also enjoy a variety of complimentary snacks and drinks, along with chances to win exciting raffle prizes throughout the evening. There will also be photos, facepainting and games.
Organizers say the event is about more than just dancing, it’s an opportunity for Mothers and their sons to connect and make lasting memories.
“The Mother-Son Dance has quickly become one of our favorite traditions,” said Fritsch PTA President Courtney Russell. “It’s wonderful to see moms and sons laughing, dancing and enjoying time together.”
