UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department was called Monday afternoon to a report of a structure fire at Parkway Terraces, located at 603 College Parkway. The reporting party advised they had smelled something electrical burning. As of 1:56 p.m. some fire units have been released from the scene following an investigation.
Reported at 1:34 p.m., the reporting party told dispatch there was a smell of something electrical burning and was unsure if it was also coming from other apartments.
Firefighters on scene are assessing the apartment complex and the unit where the electrical smell of something burning was reported to be in. No word yet as to where the source is coming from and if there is any spread. As of 1:56 p.m. some units have been released from the scene.
