The Carson City Photo Club has announced the winners of its November photo competition. The theme was “trees.” The winners are:

First Place: “Survival of the Fittest” Anke Simpson
Second Place: “Standed” Cindy Murphy
Third Place: “Falls Path” Beth Breton
Winner’s Choice: “Old Man Tree” Tom Keller

Carson City Photo Club meets at 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month, except December, at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Use west entrance. The Sheriff’s office is limiting our attendance to 25 people so if you would like to attend please RSVP to Jessi Brendel at jrb.images@yahoo.com.

At this time we are requiring everyone to wear a mask.

The theme for our monthly photo contest in January is “Bokeh” Bokeh is the soft out-of-focus/blur background that you get when you use a shallow foucs (such as f/2.8).
