Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Jan. 3 to Jan. 9, 2022. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Kings Canyon Road west of Longview Way remains closed 7 days a week, all day, for roadway reconstruction. Only local residential access will be provided. The Waterfall Trailhead and parking area is closed. There is no access and no parking for the trails. Please do not come up Kings Canyon unless you live in the area.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road, utility work:
— Curry Street between 8th Street and 10th Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, for utility work.
— Musser Street between Harbin Avenue and Carson Meadow Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, for utility work.
— Pratt Avenue between 2nd Street and 5th Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, for utility work.
