V&T Railway holds casting call for upcoming 2020 Santa’s Drive-Thru Village
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Wed, 10/21/2020 - 8:56amV&T Railway will hold a casting call for its 2020 Santa’s Drive-Thru Village on Monday, Oct. 26 and Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Eastgate Depot in Carson City. The railway is looking for energetic performers to portray elves, chefs, Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer in addition to individuals to help direct traffic throughout the event.
COVID-19 Tuesday update: second Lyon County death in two days, 26 new cases, 33 recoveries

The individual was a male Lyon County resident in his 80’s. CCHHS is also reporting 26 new cases and 33 additional recoveries in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 1,646, with 1,444 recoveries and 21 deaths; 181 cases remain active.
