The individual was a Carson City resident. We are also reporting 16 new cases and 17 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 1,870, with 1,678 recoveries and 23 deaths; 169 cases remain active.

Entering its 49th year, Virginia City’s historic annual off-road race was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17 through Sunday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event was rescheduled twice in hopes of holding the event for 2020.
