Carson City Library summer reading program kicks off with Kiwanis breakfast
The Kiwanis Club of Carson City helped the Carson City Library host the Summer Reading Program Pancake Breakfast Kick-Off on Saturday.
Carson City Library's annual Summer Reading Program Pancake Breakfast Kick-Off offered sign-ups and kids ages 2 to 17 received a free goodie bag.
The event was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Carson City, a group that has become famous for their delicious pancakes, eggs and sausage. This summer the Library has some wonderful programs planned including hosting a magician, two storytellers and a duct tape “smallet” craft class, along with a variety of family programs matching the Summer Reading Program theme, Dig into Reading at Your Library.
Please contact Amber Sady, Youth Services Librarian, at (775) 887-2244, or visit the library's website: www.carsoncitylibrary.org for more information.
Carson City Library, open Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., is located at the corner of Roop and Washington streets.
