The 2020 Jazz & Beyond Music and Art Festival will include the second annual Carson City Open Studios Tour with multiple locations. Hosted by the Carson City Classic Cinema Club, the Brewery Arts Center is holding a drive-in movie showing of the 1950s classic “Shane” on Saturday. Combined with live music and plenty of dancing, it will be a weekend for all to enjoy! Read on for more information.
Special medallion to be minted Saturday in Carson City

Coach 17 is the rail car that was present at Promontory Summit, Utah, in 1869, when the nation’s first transcontinental railroad was completed. It is part of the Nevada State Railroad Museum’s collection.

Events include the monthly downtown Carson City wine walk, plus karaoke at Bella Vita Bistro and Y-NOT Saloon. The Forest Service begins its first “Ski With a Ranger” at Lake Tahoe’s Heavenly Mountain Resort on Friday. Combined with championship football festivities on Sunday, the Silver State is in store for a wild, good time.
