Maggie M’s Beginning Art Classes will provide instruction in drawing, sketching, and painting with watercolors and acrylics 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm every Wednesday. Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department invites the community to an evening of family fun at the 8th Annual Carson City BOOnanza event this Thursday, Oct. 24, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mills Park, 1111 E. William St. Dress up in costume and trick-or-treat at decorated booths along the meandering paths. Train rides will be free during the event.
