Raising Humans in a Digital World – Community Book Discussion and Course | Friday’s in July | Grassroots Yoga
July 17 @ 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm

A 5-Week Community Book Discussion Inspired by *The Anxious Generation* by Jonathan Haidt
Read. Reflect. Discuss. Connect.
What does it mean to grow up—and help others grow up—in a world of smartphones, social media, and constant digital connection?
Join us for a thoughtful community conversation exploring the ideas behind *The Anxious Generation*. Together, we’ll examine how childhood has changed, why anxiety is rising, and what families, educators, and communities can do to foster resilience, connection, and well-being.
We’ll Explore:
• Why anxiety is increasing among young people
• How technology is reshaping childhood and relationships
• The importance of play, independence, and resilience
• Practical ways to create healthier digital habits
• How communities can support the next generation
This is a discussion group—not a lecture.
Parents, educators, grandparents, healthcare workers, youth leaders, and community members are all welcome.

Reading encouraged, but not required.
