Nevada State Railroad Museum: Carson City Celebrates Fall with Annual Harvest Train

The Nevada State Railroad Museum, Carson City will celebrate the fall season with its annual Harvest Train on Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The family-friendly event will feature rides behind two historic steam locomotives, Virginia & Truckee Locomotive No. 25 and Glenbrook, along with a pumpkin patch, games, food trucks and handcar rides. Steam train rides will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with handcar rides from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
Admission is $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 4 to 17, and free for children ages 3 and younger. Event wristbands include unlimited train rides, museum admission, handcar rides and access to event activities.
