Memorial Day Flag Placement

Chapter 7 of the Disabled American Veterans in Carson City invites the public to come out and assist with the placement of flags for the Memorial Day weekend at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City. The placement will take place at 4 p.m. on the 22nd of May 2026. The Chapter will provide the flags. The public is asked to place the flags only on the headstones of military veterans. Flags should be inserted one inch above the left corner of the headstone into the ground.
We will retrieve the flags at 4 p.m. on the 25th of May 2026.
