Haircuts for the Homeless ~ Silver State Salon & Spa

Silver State Salon and Spa is proud to announce a special community event providing free haircuts to the homeless in Carson City. The event will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at 3246 North Carson St., Suite 130. Come and Get a haircut , and be a part of our BBQ that day!
Partnering with local sponsors”NOTs” Night Off the Streets, Gisele’s Salon, “Fish” Friends in Service Helping and KNVC 95.1, Silver State Salon and Spa is committed to giving back to the community and helping Carson City’s homeless residents feel confident and cared for.
This initiative will be held monthly, with the goal of ensuring that Carson City’s homeless population can look and feel their best while fostering a sense of dignity and community support.
“We believe that everyone deserves to look and feel good, no matter their circumstances,” said Michael Thompson of Silver State Salon and Spa. “By providing free haircuts, we hope to bring a little positivity and self-esteem to those who need it most.”
Residents, volunteers, and community members are encouraged to support this initiative and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of Carson City’s homeless.
