Follies for All Seasons

Hello everyone, it’s that time of year again! Last year I was asked by Toni VanCleave, Director of the 2024 Carson Follies at the
Carson City Senior Center to lend my voice to the 2024 Follies. This year, I was equally, “Blessed”, again to be a part of the
2025 Follies. This year’s theme is: “Follies for All Seasons”. We are bringing to life on stage: Spring, Summer, Winter & Fall.
The Follies will be featuring entertainment that includes: singers, cloggers, woodland fairies, a synchronized swim team,
and a variety of other acts.
What truly endeared this production to my heart is the fact that it is a fundraiser for Meals on Wheels.
Last year with the original production of, “Ocean Commotion”, we were able to raise just over $5,000.00 in two days.
This year we have 3 shows to do even better!
Meals on Wheels provides nutritious, fresh meals delivered Monday through Friday and frozen meals for weekends and holiday
closures to our (60 and older) community, who may be experiencing illness, disability, and/or geographic location difficulties.
So, bring your laughter, your need for some fun entertainment and of course your wallets: as this is a fundraiser and help us
keep our aging community independent and thriving!
