The Carson City Symphony, conducted by Music Director David Bugli and Assistant Conductor Brian Fox, will present an America 250 Concert on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at the Carson City Community Center’s Bob Boldrick Theater, 851 E. William Street in Carson City. The concert features music by American composers.

The program opens with Bruce Roter’s A Birthday Celebration!. Guest soloist is mezzo-soprano Brittney May, who will sing “Ain’t It a Pretty Night?” from Susannnah and “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Carousel with the orchestra. The concert includes the Nevada premiere of Gwyneth Walker’s America 250!, Robert Russell Bennett’s Suite of Old American Dances, and more.

Tickets are $18 general admission; $15 for seniors, students, and Symphony Association members; and free for youth age 18 and under. Tickets are on sale online at CCSymphony.com or at the door. “Flex” tickets at discounted prices are also available at CCSymphony.com. During the week before the concert (February 14 through 21), blood donors at Vitalant–Carson City may receive a complimentary ticket to the concert.

Pre-show entertainment by Kat MacMartin, who will play American fiddle tunes, begins at 3:00 p.m. in the lobby. A concert preview with conductors David Bugli and Brian Fox, and soloist Brittney May, begins at 3:15 p.m. in the Bob Crowell Board Room.

Carson City Symphony is a community orchestra of about 60 players who perform music from the 15th to the 21stcenturies. The 2025-26 concert season is supported with public funding through the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, Carson City, and by private donations.
