Carson City firefighters were called early Wednesday evening to a small back yard brush fire in the 4000 block of Lepire Drive near Carson City Animal Services.
The 10-foot by 10-foot fire was quickly extinguished, said Carson City Fire Chief Stacey Giomi. The call came into dispatch at around 5:30 p.m.
