UPDATE 10:40AM: Carson City Fire Department, sheriff’s deputies and Nevada State Police were called Wednesday morning to a crash on I-580 in the southbound lane south of the Eastlake exit involving a semi and a truck with a horse trailer.
No injuries were reported, however KTVN reports Nevada State Police has told them that a few horses were injured.
The crash was reported at 6:36 a.m. and was initially reported as a semi on fire. The crash was blocking southbound traffic. Motorists are being diverted at Eastlake Boulevard and can expect delays.
