Quad-County Emergency Operations Center (Quad EOC) is reporting one new positive case and three additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 111, with 72 recoveries and one death, 38 cases remain active.
The new case is:
A male Douglas County resident in his 70’s
Carson City Health and Human Services is working to identify close risk contacts to prevent further spread of the disease. Due to medical privacy requirements and to protect their identity, no further information about the case will be released.

For those without symptoms, 927 individuals have been tested so far. Of those, 400 tests have returned with results and all 400 have returned negative.
