UPDATE: Firefighters knocked down the Ophir Fire on Saturday and were in mop up phase. According to Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch, the fire was around 15 acres. No structures were threatened.

Just after 3 p.m. on Saturday Truckee Meadows Fire District responded to a report of a brushfire in the Northern foothills of Washoe Valley just above Eastlake Boulevard.

Around 4 p.m. they said there were no structures threatened at that time, and the fire was between 2-3 acres of grass and sagebrush.
