Tickets are now available for the inaugural Minden-Tahoe SkyFest, Northern Nevada’s only air show, taking place Oct. 16 to 18, 2026, at the Minden-Tahoe Airport in Carson Valley, Nev.
Formerly known as the Aviation Roundup, the newly reimagined SkyFest brings a renowned lineup of aerial performances, a Friday evening airshow and drone experience and family-friendly attractions and static displays.
Headlining the weekend is the legendary Patriots Jet Team, bringing precision formation flying, speed, and aerobatic excitement. Comprised of former military and airline pilots, the Patriots Jet Team includes aviators who served with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Navy Blue Angels, and frontline fighter squadrons flying aircraft such as the F-16, A-10, F-117, F/A-18 Hornet, and Harrier, alongside veteran commercial airline captains.
The performances include military demonstrations, aerobatic performers, skydiving exhibitions, and a unique nighttime aviation showcase.

The three-day event begins Friday, Oct. 16, with gates opening at 4 p.m. for a special evening airshow beginning at 6 p.m., followed by live music from The Scarlet Verbs. Weekend activities continue Saturday and Sunday with full daytime airshow performances, opening ceremonies, and additional attractions throughout the airport grounds. Gates open Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. for the 11 a.m. start.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra Nevada, Minden-Tahoe SkyFest attracts visitors from throughout Northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and the surrounding region. As the only airshow of its kind in Northern Nevada and only two in Nevada, the event combines world-class aviation entertainment with the natural beauty of Carson Valley.
Tickets and parking passes are available now at MindenTahoeSkyFest.net. Attendees are encouraged to purchase early, as premium viewing areas and specialty seating options are expected to sell out.
Ticket purchasers can support Austin’s House, a nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter, stability, and care for vulnerable children across Nevada, by rounding up or making a set donation. Since opening in 2007, Austin’s House has served hundreds of children, helping them remain connected to their schools, communities, and support systems during times of crisis.
