The Carson City School District is pleased to announce Carson High School’s plan to host an evening graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026. The ceremony will take place Friday, June 5, 2026, starting at 7 p.m., under the lights at the sports complex. Carson High School’s Silver Campus graduation ceremony will also be combined with the main campus’ event.
Another new addition this year will be the use of the stadium’s LED lighting system and two video display boards on each side of the field, which were generously loaned from the Brewery Arts Center. The new addition of video boards will help put attendees up close and personal with their students as they cross the stage.

Attendees will be able to sit in the bleachers and other areas, such as the grass areas and the outside edge of the field. No food or drink, with the exception of water, will be permitted on the field. Attendees should refrain from wearing heels or other ground-penetrating shoes. Artificial noise makers will not be permitted.

Carson Middle School at 1140 W. King St. will also host a promotion ceremony for all eighth graders at1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, celebrating its year-end tradition in the main gym. Additionally, Eagle Valley Middle School at 4151 E. Fifth St. will hold a walk-through promotion ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, a similar promotion event as last year. Students at both schools are required to pass all classes, have all necessary credits and make sure they do not owe any outstanding fees to the schools to participate. Promotion certificates will be mailed with report cards. Parents and families should contact each school with specific questions.
Finally, the district’s various elementary schools will host fifth-grade promotions and Pre-K and kindergarten graduations. Individual school information should have been sent directly to parents and families.
