Carson City Fire Department, Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District and Nevada Highway Patrol responded Tuesday afternoon to a single vehicle accident off of US-50 West near Golf Club Drive.
Initially called at 3:47 p.m. as a vehicle rollover down an embankment, the reporting party was recontacted and they clarified that a vehicle hit barriers and crashed and did not roll down an embankment.
Two other calls to dispatch stated the vehicle did not go over the embankment.
Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District located the vehicle half way between the Douglas County line and Golf Club Drive. No injuries were reported and Carson City Fire Department responders were canceled.
Motorists can expect delays.
