Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded Saturday evening to a reported structure fire at a mobile home park in the 400 block of Hot Springs Road.
Called into dispatch at 5:53 p.m. persons inside a double-wide mobile home were instructed to evacuate. Arriving firefighters located light smoke coming from the mobile home with no flames visible.
What was burning was knocked down. Firefighters are remaining on scene to get the smoke out of the residence. All other fire engines were called off from the scene and headed back to quarters.
Southwest Gas and NV Energy were also responding. Damage is unknown at the time of this writing.
