Due to strong community interest and increased ticket demand, the Carson City Historical Society has moved its upcoming lecture, “Mail, Mochilas, and Miles: The Story of the Pony Express and Carson City,” to a larger venue.

The program, presented by Pony Express re-ride participants Petra Keller and Dee Beardsley, will now take place in the Nevada Room at the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive in Carson City. Guests should enter through the west side entrance of the building.

The date and time remain the same — Thursday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m.

If you have already purchased tickets, no changes are necessary — your tickets remain valid and will be honored at the new location.

The lecture will explore the remarkable story of the Pony Express, the riders who carried mail across nearly 2,000 miles of rugged frontier terrain, and the modern commemorative re-rides that continue to honor this extraordinary chapter of American history.

Tickets are $10 for non-members. Reservations are available at CCHistorical.org.
