Carson High School saw 15 varsity student-athletes named as Winter 2025-2026 NIAA Academic All State 4.0 Students.
Those include Julia Aquino, Genius De Serrano, Makenzie Gannon, Sophia Sulikova and Sophie Syndergaard for Cheer; Saule Astrononmo and Karol Sanchez for Girls Basketball; Charles Turner for Boys Alpine Ski; Lillian Barker and Autumn Miele for Girls Alpine Ski; Robert Vega and Daniel Walther for Boys Wrestling; and Velah Costello, Kaitylyn Funk and Mana Payan for Girls Wrestling.


Additionally, there were more than a dozen student-athletes from Carson High who earned postseason athletic honors this winter. Those include the following.

- Damian Porter, 157lb, Second Team, NIAA Officials recognized Damian as the Outstanding Individual Sportsmanship Award

Finally, Carson High School Head Coach Ty Golden was selected by his peers to be honored as the “Sierra League Basketball Coach of the Year” for the 2025-26 season. The Senators went 10-14 this season.
