Carson City Fire Department responded late Monday morning to a vehicle crash involving a Waste Management truck and a SUV. No serious injuries were reported, however one person advised suffering leg pain and was taken to the hospital.
The accident, reported at 11:37 a.m., happened near the Costco parking lot in the area of 4644 Old Clear Creek Road. There was air bag deployment and the vehicle suffered moderate damage, according to dispatch. Both drivers were out of their vehicles when firefighters arrived.
Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputies have also responded.
