Summer has unofficially begun in downtown Carson City as the Third and Curry Farmer’s Market, a seasonal favorite of locals and visitors alike, opened for the 2018 summer season in downtown Carson City.

The market is held every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning June 2 through Sept. 29.

Featured products include fresh farm produce, flowers and other plants, meats, honey, pastry items as well as other vendors.

SNAP recipients are once again able to redeem their food stamps at the Third and Curry Farmer’s Market, located in the parking lot hemmed in by Curry, Nevada, Second and Third streets in downtown Carson City.

Live music is also a highlight of the popular annual farmer’s market, which attracts hundreds to downtown Carson City each Saturday throughout the summer.
